Certified Organic

When we set out to make the best napkins on the planet, we wanted to do more than just advertise our products as sustainable, we wanted to prove it. All of our products are GOTS® certified organic, meaning our entire supply chain meets rigorous, ecological and social criteria. It certifies that farmed to finished products are free of harmful chemicals, pesticides and residues – and protects workers from unethical environments.

Ethical Production

From the moment the seeds are planted and all the way up through the supply chain our GOTS® certified products must meet criteria of the International Labour Organisation (ILO), United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs), and Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). This includes rules around workplace freedoms, child labor, discrimination, health and safety, harassment and violence, living wage gap, working time, precarious employment and migrant workers.

Organic vs Conventional

The conventional cotton that is in 99% of all cotton products is one of the worst crops on the planet. It consumes 16% of the worlds pesticides and uses over 1,300 gallons of water to produce just one pound. Organic on the other hand is grown without pesticides and utilizes rain water for growth. On top of that, organic cotton produces around 46% less CO2 compared to conventional cotton.

Purposeful Packaging

When opening your napkins for the first time, you may be surprised by the minimal packaging. This is by design. When it comes to packaging, we believe that less is more. The less carbon we release into the atmosphere and the more trees we save results in a more beautiful planet for future generations. All of our packaging is made from 100% recycled materials and can be recycled curbside.
